Singapore Summer School

The English Summer School for the 7th graders of English Program has been organized in April every year in Singapore since 2006. Most of Grade 7 students choose to take part in the program to improve their English and experience life abroad for the first time. Along with their chaperoning teachers, students spend 21 days in Singapore, joining an English and Chinese classes at St. Francis Methodist School. They also experience life outside their classroom by visiting various places when the school organizes trips for them or even when their chaperones take them on a bus or MRT, exposing themselves to daily life of Singaporean. Within less than a month, all participants gain a valuable life experience and thorough understanding on how to adjust themselves in living with other fellow students, how to overcome their home sickness, and how to enjoy their life without their parents.
