8 Graders' tasks

In the second semester, the 8 graders are required to create a project on 'Citizenship'. They are grouped up with 4-5 members and started thinking about issues they had seen in their community. Each group came up with various problems, i.e. drinking and driving, environmental concern, self-improvement, gambling, and smoking. After choosing one topic to work on, students then have to conduct a research on such issues and how to fix or alleviate that problem in their society. They created a questionnaire survey to find out what Sa-nguan Ying School students think about the issue.

After that, each group had to brainstorm how they can help alleviate such issue. They came up with various media such as producing a poster, a video clip, a blog or Facebook Fanpage to encourage other people in their community to realize and fix such problem.
